Good day.

I am very distracted with the yellow colour of my teeth. For that, I went to dentistry and try to get some teeth cleaning.

But after the dentist observed, he told me that the scaling and polishing will not change the colour of my teeth, I am very confuse with that statement.

Is it true that cleaning will not whiten my teeth and then if it is, what should/can I do?

Hello, Yes no teeth polishing or general cleaning can influence or change the natural colour of your teeth. This will only remove surface staining and hard deposits that have built up.
In order to whiten your teeth you would need to have tooth whitening procedure;ie Zoom, or Britesmile this procedure will change the shade of your teeth up to 7-10 shades lighter. The Dentist can do this for you at the surgery just call to book an appointment.
