Dear Paul
Thank you for your enquiry.
First of all, I am sorry to hear about your Son’s accident and truly wish him well.
Further to your email, the quickest way of replacing a missing natural tooth will be with an implant supported crown. However, in some cases if the area is traumatized he may have to wait for it to heal before he can have a dental implant. In the meantime, however your son can have a provisional adhesive bridge to restore the gap until his bone structure is ready for implant placement. I would strongly recommend for your Son to have an urgent consultation with an Implantologist, to see what his treatment options are as soon as possible. There is absolutely no harm in consulting a Surgeon to explore what treatment options are open to him.
I hope you find this information helpful
