My wife tested positive for HPV 5 years ago and I performed oral sex on her many times. Now, 5 years later, shortly after getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed, I’ve noticed a growth of white tissue on my upper left inner cheek, behind where one of my non-impacted wisdom teeth were. I first noticed it because it felt like food was stuck between my gum and cheek and I was able to pick it out but it grew back a few days later and I picked it off again. It keeps coming back though. It doesn’t hurt, it’s just a small white growth and after I pick it off, all that is left is a small white dot. I noticed I also have a small white dot on the surface of the other side of my mouth in the same area but it isn’t growing at all. I worried this might be oral cancer from HPV. I do not smoke at all, no forms of tobacco, and I only drink socially.

This requires a specialist opinion perhaps from a dental hospital consultant
