My daughters bottom middle two teeth have moved only ever so slightly, still look almost perfect but worried they may get worse, she is 14. She still have the final back teeth to come through, they are only just breaking through now. Went to the dentist today and she said didn;t think these teeth are causing the problem. She said they may stay the same or move more and that we would just have to wait and see. is there anything I can do to stop them moving any more? Thanks for any help

I think the dentist is correct and that you have to wait until all the back teeth are through so a proper assessment can be done. You don’t need to stop the lower front teeth moving at the moment. As long as the situation is kept under review the dentist can make the proper referral to teh orthodontist at the correct time.
