I woke up in the morning with the insides of my cheeks swollen. I think I have a wisdom teeth growing as well and now since my cheeks are swollen, they are rubbing against the wisdom tooth. It is not painful but it does cause discomfort when I eat? Any suggestions on what to do?

Thank you for your email.

I would suggest a soft diet and to rinse your mouth with warm salt water mouthwash.

Also book an appointment to see your dentist to assess whether or not the tooth requires extracting.

Regards,
