I have an 6 or 7 year old crown in the back right molar. Yesterday I woke up with throbbing pain in that area. It has continued into today. I know I clench my teeth while I sleep. There is no swelling or pain to tapping the crown. Is this something to be concerned about, or will it simply go away in a few days?

This sounds like classical toothache and it will reside but you will need a root canal in afraid – het to see a dentist and get and X-ray done ASAP
