With tooth loss, bone surrounding the root area can recede.

Cavities inside the skull’s structure, the sinuses, can expand into the area of the tooth root.

There may be insufficient bone structure to support implants.

The sinus can be “lifted” with the insertion of special material that encourages bone re-growth.

Bone re-growth over time can produce enough bone structure to support implants.
